It's worth noting that most midi loft beds with desk require the use of a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden slatted base. This is not included in the price of the bed, therefore we suggest looking at our mattress deals to find a price that suits your budget!

Mattress
Most midi beds accept standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk comes with a safety rail to give you extra peace of mind. Some models have the option of a pull-out trundle drawer which can be used to host sleepovers, or to add more storage space beneath the bed. They can be open or have doors (please look at the product's details for more details).
A lot of midi cabins have desks that can be moved from one level to another, or chests. This gives children a customized space to store all their belongings and means that there's no need to take the floor space by putting up bulky wardrobes or shelving units.
Some models have gone one step further with cabinets that are flush mounted or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is perfect for storing books and toys.
